Elwood makes just once change for Quins clash

The inclusion of Adrian Flavin at hooker represents the only change for Connacht as they prepare to welcome Harlequins back to the Sportsground for Saturday’s Heineken Cup Round 2 meeting (6pm).

Ethienne Reynecke injured his calf in the closing stages of the Zebre game forcing Elwood to draft Flavin into the front row while Jason Harris-Wright provides cover on the bench.

Johnny O’Connor is again named among the replacements as Elwood keeps faith with the back row of John Muldoon, George Naoupu and former Ulster man Willie Faloon.

There are no changes to the backs, with Dave McSharry, who will earn his 20th cap for the province, and Eoin Griffin retaining their centre partnership.

Brett Wilkinson returns to the squad from B&I Cup duty last week and takes his place among the substitutes.

Dave Moore and Mata Fifita, both of whom made an appearance in last week’s opening Heineken Cup fixture, are joined by Miah Nikora in the replacement backs.

Connacht (v. Harlequins): R Henshaw; T O’Halloran, E Griffin, D McSharry, F Vainikolo; D Parks, K Marmion; D Buckley, A Flavin, N White ©; M Swift, M McCarthy; J Muldoon, W Faloon, G Naoupu.

Replacements: J Harris-Wright, B Wilkinson, R Loughney, D Gannon, J O’Connor, D Moore, M Nikora, M Fifita.
