Hernandez fit to start for Pumas

Fly-half Juan Martin Hernandez has been passed fit to return for Argentina’s clash with world champions New Zealand in Wellington this weekend.

A groin injured prevented Hernandez from taking his place in the 16-16 draw with South Africa in Mendoza as the Pumas narrowly failed to claim their first win in the Rugby Championship.

Openside flanker Juan Manuel Leguizamon was also named to return for an Argentina side that will have inside knowledge on their rivals thanks to the presence of Graham Henry.

Henry led the Kiwis to their World Cup success last season and joined the team in training today as part of their assistant coaching staff.

New Zealand are set to keep their cards close to their chest, with new boss Steve Hansen not set to name his 22-man squad until Thursday – the same day Argentina will reveal their replacements.
