Second-half display gives Cork Con bonus-point win
Cork Constitution 43 Blackrock College 6
Cork Constitution blew Blackrock College apart in the second half of their Division 1A clash at Temple Hill.
Munster's Scott Deasy and Ivan Dineen scored a brace of tries each as the Leesiders raced to a 43-6 victory, having been just a point ahead at the break.
In-form out-half Darragh Fitzpatrick nudged 'Rock ahead with a first minute penalty, but Cork Con showed their attacking potential with a converted try from Deasy.
Fitzpatrick closed the gap to 7-6 for the break, however Brian Walsh's men simply went up through the gears in the second period.
Out-half Johnny Holland and replacement Robert Clune also dotted down for the hosts, who had a 13-point kicking contribution from Gerry Hurley.
