O’Mahony ruled out of Scarlets clash

Munster's Peter O'Mahony will miss Sunday's return game with Scarlets after sustaining a hairline crack to his jaw in the Round 3 game in Parc Y Scarlets last Saturday.

O’Mahony didn’t return for the second half on Saturday having suffered the blow to his jaw on the stroke of halftime, he was replaced by Denis Leamy. This afternoon an X-ray showed the damage sustained which will keep him sidelined for two weeks or so.

Meanwhile Keith Earls is expected to return to full training this week and could be included in the Munster squad for the weekend while Peter Borlase (back), Dave O’Callaghan (knee) and Sean Scanlon (neck) all returned from injury in the British & Irish Cup win over Ayr in Tralee RFC. Ivan Dineen (knee) also returns to training this week.
