Munster star Howlett set for scan

Munster’s New Zealand international wing Doug Howlett is to undergo a scan and seek specialist opinion this week after being injured during the RaboDirect Pro12 clash against Ospreys on Saturday.

Munster say Howlett has been ruled out of their back-to-back Heineken Cup appointments with the Scarlets during the next fortnight.
