Despite going down 20-9 to Leicester at Welford Road, Ulster coach Brian McLaughlin is refusing to give up hope of reaching the Heineken Cup knock-out stages.

Leicester boast a 100% record so far in this season’s European campaign having beaten Aironi in Round 1 and now sit tip of Pool 4 with eight points with Clermont second on six and Ulster two points further back in third.
