Ireland’s World Cup Pool C clash with Russia at Rotorua International Stadium in the Bay of Plenty this Sunday is set to a be a 26,000 sell-out following the thrilling 15-6 victory over Australia in Auckland last Saturday.

Rugby World Cup communications manager Mike Jaspers confirmed that the game would reach full capacity in today’s Rotorua Daily Post.

The paper reports that many businesses will extend their opening hours due to the large influx of Irish fans to the North Island region.
