Second-half comeback saves Ospreys

Treviso 27 Ospreys 32

Ospreys produced a second-half comeback to beat Treviso and maintain their 100% start to the RaboDirect Pro12 season at the Stadio Monigo.

Treviso, yet to record a win this season, were in with a chance of breaking that duck as they held an 18-16 half-time lead through Luca Morisi and Benjamin Vermaak’s tries, with Tom Isaacs crossing for the Welsh outfit.

But Ospreys captain Justin Tipuric continued his recent form with the only try of the second half while Dan Biggar kicked 19 points in all to help their side to a third successive win.

Treviso had launched a late comeback bid as replacement Willem de Waal kicked three penalties but Kristian Phillips knocked one over of his own a minute from time to wrap up the victory.
