England prop Sheridan sent home after injury

England prop Andrew Sheridan faces an uncertain future as he heads home as the first injury casualty of the Rugby World Cup.

Sheridan had scans on his left shoulder after England’s 13-9 victory over Argentina and surgeons back in the UK, who studied the images, ruled him out of the tournament.
