France have made 11 changes for Sunday’s World Cup Pool A clash with Canada in Napier, with captain Thierry Dusautoir left out of the matchday 22.

France have made 11 changes for Sunday’s World Cup Pool A clash with Canada in Napier, with captain Thierry Dusautoir left out of the matchday 22.

Aurelien Rougerie, who will switch from centre to wing, takes over as captain, while two other backs will keep their places in the starting line-up following Saturday’s opening 47-21 win over Japan.

Francois Trinh-Duc is set to continue at fly-half with Vincent Clerc selected on the wing, while hooker William Servat is the only forward to retain his place.

Clerc has scored a try on each of his last four starts for France.
