Ireland to honour 911 attack victims on match day
Both sides will commemorate the 10th anniversary of the September 11th attacks before Ireland’s opening World Cup bout with the US Eagles at Yarrow Stadium on Sunday.
“We have agreed with the US team and the Rugby World Cup committee to have a moment of silence; I think it will be 30 seconds,” team manager Paul McNaughton has confirmed.
