Schmidt: Jennings deserves his opportunity

Leinster coach Joe Schmidt believes Shane Jennings is deserving of his place in Declan Kidney’s World Cup squad, even if his inclusion only came after David Wallace suffered a knee injury against England on Saturday.

Serious knee ligament damage sustained in a tackle by Manu Tuilagi on 35-year-old Wallace has brought the flanker’s World Cup aspirations to a crushing halt.
