Injured duo could go to World Cup

Ireland may be willing to take Gordon D’Arcy and Stephen Ferris to the World Cup even if they fail to participate in this month’s warm-up games.

It is hoped the pair will feature in the latter stages of the five-match programme designed to leave the squad battle-hardened for the tournament in New Zealand.
