Youth prompted Kidney stay

Ireland coach Declan Kidney insists his faith in the country’s young talent persuaded him to stay on beyond the end of this autumn’s World Cup.

Kidney and his assistant coaches Gert Smal, Les Kiss and Mark Tainton last night committed themselves to staying on with the Irish Rugby Football Union through to the end of the 2012-13 season.
