Munster coach Tony McGahan has made nine changes, two of those positional, from the side that defeated Connacht last weekend for Saturday’s Magners League semi-final match against the Ospreys at Thomond Park Stadium, kick-off 6.30pm.
The back three combination of Felix Jones, Doug Howlett and Keith Earls is reinstated while Lifeimi Mafi comes into the centre to partner youngster Danny Barnes in a new-look midfield.
Ronan O’Gara links up with Conor Murray at half-back once more; Peter Stringer and Stade Francais-bound Paul Warwick provide cover from the bench.
Damian Varley starts at hooker in place of the unlucky Mike Sherry - who has impressed in the loose in recent weeks. Varley is joined in the frontrow by Munster veterans John Hayes and Marcus Horan.
Donncha O’Callaghan returns to partner Paul O’Connell in the engine room.
Donnacha Ryan shifts to blindside and completes the backrow with David Wallace and James Coughlan.
Meanwhile, Ospreys coach Sean Holley has named his side for the play-off clash in Limerick.
Irish international Tommy Bowe features on the right wing; James Hook will orchestrate matters from inside centre.
Alun Wyn Jones captains the Welsh region from the secondrow alongside fellow international lock Ian Gough.
