Scotland scrum-half Chris Cusiter has flown to Australia for a short-term playing stint in a bid to improve his match fitness ahead of the World Cup.

Cusiter will play up to four games for the Southern Districts club in Sydney as he looks to push his way into the Scotland squad which sets off for New Zealand in September.
