Thompson signs for Wasps

Wasps have signed Leeds Carnegie’s World Cup winner Steve Thompson for the 2011-12 Aviva Premiership season.

The England star, who has 66 international caps and was part of the 2003 England side which won the World Cup, has also played for Northampton and Brive as well as touring New Zealand with the Lions in 2005.
