McGahan names Munster squad for Brive trip
Munster coach Tony McGahan has named a 25-man squad for Saturday’s Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-final clash with Brive at the Stade Municipal, kick-off 2.00pm.
Denis Hurley returns to the squad for the first time since injuring his ankle against Edinburgh in February.
Paul O’Connell, who incurred an ankle injury in last Saturday’s pulsating 24-23 victory is out for the foreseeable future, but apart from the talismanic lock’s absence, Munster have reported a clean bill of health for the trip to France.
The likes of Paul Warwick, Sam Tuitupou and Tony Buckely, who are departing in the summer, are all named in the squad.
Felix Jones, Denis Hurley, Doug Howlett, Johne Murphy, Sam Tuitupou, Lifeimi Mafi, Keith Earls, Paul Warwick, Ronan O'Gara, Conor Murray, Peter Stringer, Wian du Preez, Marcus Horan, Stephen Archer, John Hayes, Tony Buckley, Damien Varley, Mike Sherry, Donncha O'Callaghan, Mick O'Driscoll, Donnacha Ryan, Niall Ronan, David Wallace, James Coughlan, Denis Leamy.
