Munster chiefs appeal O’Connell suspension

Munster Rugby have today confirmed that they have appealed the ERC decision that was handed down to Paul O’Connell last Thursday at an ERC hearing in Dublin.

O’Connell was handed a four-week suspension as a result of "dangerous play" in Munster’s 22-16 victory over the Ospreys in the Heineken Cup round three match at Thomond Park almost a fortnight ago.
