O’Connell included in Munster squad
Paul O’Connell has been included in Munster’s squad for Saturday’s crunch Heineken Cup match with the Ospreys at the Liberty Stadium in Swansea. (kick-off 3.30pm)
O’Connell will travel to Dublin tomorrow for an ERC hearing in relation to the red card he received in last weekend’s game against the same opposition.
O’Connell was sent-off in the 70th minute of the game, having come on as a replacement on the hour mark, but was sent off by referee Christophe Berdos after appearing to make contact with Osprey’s number eight Jonathan Thomas with his elbow.
Donnacha Ryan rejoins the squad and looks set to join the matchday 22 should O’Connell receive a ban.
Otherwise, there are no changes to the Munster squad that faced the Welsh region last weekend.
