Browne wants to play for Ireland
Leeds Carnegie's New Zealand-born back-row Daniel Browne has declared his interest in playing for Ireland.
He is also eligible to play for England where he has been resident for three years, but he wants to play for Declan Kidney.
"Every player wants to play international rugby and it would great to put on the Irish jersey," he said, speaking to BBC Radio Leeds.
"Hopefully on the back of a good season here I can achieve that."
Browne qualifies for Ireland through the heritage of his father.
