Sexton loses fitness race for Leinster
Jonathan Sexton has failed to recover from a broken jaw allowing Shaun Berne to line out at out-half for Leinster against Toulouse in Saturday's Heineken Cup semi final at Le Stadium (kick off: 3.45pm Irish time).
Full-back Rob Kearney has passed a fitness test to play at full-back, while Ireland’s Cian Healy will start at loose-head in the only surprise decision by coach Michael Cheika.
It means Stan Wright will move across to tight-head with CJ van der Linde dropping to the bench.
Back-up kicker Fergus McFadden is ruled out with a calf injury. Eoin O’Malley joins the likes of Van der Linde, Malcolm O'Kelly and Girvan Dempsey on the replacements bench.
LEINSTER (v Toulouse): R Kearney; S Horgan, B O’Driscoll, G D’Arcy, I Nacewa; S Berne, E Reddan, C Healy, J Fogarty, S Wright, L Cullen (capt), N Hines, K McLaughlin, S Jennings, J Heaslip.
