Dolphin's Cronin to captain Ireland Club v Scotland

Dolphin’s Sam Cronin will captain the Ireland Club against the Scotland Club side in the AIB Club International in Donnybrook on Friday evening.

Coach David O'Mahony has brought in a number of new caps to represent their club and country in the AIB Club International.

Up front UCC's John Ryan comes in for Martin Gately alongside Mike Essex and Simon Shawe. In the back row, injuries to Barry O'Mahony and Richie Leyden mean that Hugh Hogan of St Mary's College and Zach Farivars from Blackrock College come in to the starting XV.

Matt Healy of Lansdowne starts on the right wing in place of John Cleary with Clontarf's Killian Lett coming in for AIB Cup winning captain Evan Ryan.
