Postponed Magners League matches could take place on Six Nations weekends

It looks like the postponed Magner’s League matches will take place on Six Nations weekends.

"We'll see how teams progress in the Heineken Cup because obviously that might free up some ERC weekends for us," said Magners League Director David Jordan.

"The other option would be to play through the international windows so, clearly, some teams would rather play with full-strength sides so if we can utilise some ERC weekends then they might consider doing that.

"If matches take place during the Six Nations weekends there is the option of a Thursday (night game) so there is no clash. This is only a personal opinion but Scotland are over at Dublin this year but maybe the Glasgow-Leinster match can be played on that Friday night."
