Cronin extends Connacht contract

Ireland international hooker Sean Cronin has extended his stay at Connacht to the end of 2011.

"It is very encouraging to see a young player come here and progress to be a full international inside a year and a half," said CEO Gerry Kelly.

The 23-year-old was a standout in Ireland A’s Churchill Cup win last summer, eventually earning him his first full cap against Fiji in November.
