Ireland international Tommy Bowe has escaped the sanction of a suspension following a hearing into an alleged dangerous tackle.

The Citing Commissioner Iain Goddall decided that Bowe, playing for The Ospreys, had committed an act of foul play on Viadana’s Kaine Robertson in their Heineken Cup match last weekend, but that it did not warrant a red card.

Thus, Bowe is free to play for The Ospreys in this weekend’s Heineken Cup.
