Stade Francais players David Attoub and Julien Dupuy have both been cited for allegedly gouging Ulster forward Stephen Ferris in separate incidents in the Heineken Cup match at Ravenhill on Saturday.

The citings lodged by the Citing Commissioner for the match, Tony Lanaway (England), is for alleged contact with the eye / eye area of Ferris (No 6) in contravention of Law 10.4 (l).

If proven, it could lead to lengthy suspensions as video evidence is sure to be used to prove the case, thus ruling the players out of the return match with Ulster in Brussels next weekend.

The independent judicial officer will be appointed as soon as practicable.
