McGahan lauds 'outstanding' O'Gara

Munster coach Tony McGahan hailed Ronan O’Gara’s display in his side’s gritty 24-23 Heineken Cup victory over Pool 1 opponents Perpignan at Thomond Park tonight as “an outstanding performance from an outstanding player”.

Man-of-the-match O’Gara, whose goal-kicking has come in to question in recent weeks, scored all of Munster’s points with seven penalties and a drop goal as McGahan’s side stayed on track to qualify for the quarter-finals for the twelfth successive year.
