O'Connell in Munster squad
Munster captain Paul O'Connell has been included in Munster's 27-strong squad for Friday's Heineken Cup clash with Perpignan at Thomond Park (8pm).
There was some worry over O’Connell’s fitness given he pulled out of last Saturday’s match against The Ospreys with a groin strain. Fellow Ireland internationals David Wallace, Denis Leamy and Jerry Flannery have also been listed.
Prop Darragh Hurley has also returned from injury to take his place in the squad. Loose-head Marcus Horan is also back on the training paddock, although still some way short of being ready for game time.
MUNSTER SQUAD (v Perpignan): Wian Du Preez, Darragh Hurley, Tony Buckley, John Hayes, Denis Fogarty, Damien Varley, Jerry Flannery, Donncha O’Callaghan, Donnacha Ryan, Paul O’Connell, Mick O’Driscoll, Alan Quinlan, Niall Ronan, David Wallace, Denis Leamy, James Coughlan, Peter Stringer, Tomas O’Leary, Ronan O’Gara, Paul Warwick, Lifeimi Mafi, Jean De Villiers, Keith Earls, Ian Dowling, Doug Howlett, Denis Hurley, Felix Jones.
