The final few tickets out of the 54,000 released to the public for the 2010 Heineken Cup final have been snapped up.

It leaves 26,000 left to be sold between the final participants (14,000) and various other outlets for the final at the 80,000 capacity Stade de France in May.

"We are delighted to announce that all 54,000 of the tickets made available for public purchase have been sold some six months ahead of the big event," said Derek McGrath, the ERC Chief Executive.

"This is the earliest we have ever sold out for a Heineken Cup final and what better occasion to celebrate the growth of the tournament over the last 15 years than doing it at the Heineken Cup final in the French capital."
