Connacht sign Naoupu for rest of season

Connacht have signed Otago Highlander utility forward George Naoupu until the end of the season.

A former New Zealand Sevens and Under-21 player, Naoupu played Super 14 rugby for the Highlanders this season. He is capable of playing in the second or back rows.

Naoupu, 26, actually played for New Zealand in their IRB Under-21 World Championship final victory over Ireland back in 2004.
