Pair added to Barbarians squad

Wales scrum-half Mike Phillips and South Africa counterpart Fourie du Preez have been added to the Barbarians squad to face the All Blacks on December 5.

The pair were fierce rivals during the summer Lions tour to South Africa but will both turn out for the Barbarians at Twickenham.

Phillips said: “I’m really looking forward to being on the same team as Fourie, he’s such an exceptional player.

“Hopefully we’ll be able to give each other a few tips since the Lions series is over.”
