Bracken signs for Dragons
Tullamore man Peter Bracken has signed a four-month, contract with Newport-Gwent Dragons.
Bracken will move from playing AIB League rugby for Galwegians into contention for Heineken Cup involvement with The Dragons, who play Gloucester on Friday night, due to injury to Gethin Robinson and Ben Castle.
"This is a great opportunity for Peter to reignite his career," said Ritchie Hunter, Bracken's agent on Tuesday.
"After his success with Wasps, Peter has been lacking game time and this is a great opportunity for him to play in the Heineken Cup as well as Magners League. He will be ready to answer the Dragons' call if required on Friday night."
