Pienaar gets shock call-up

Ruan Pienaar was today handed a surprise recall to the starting line-up for South Africa’s Tri-Nations encounter against Australia in Perth on Saturday.

The inclusion of the Sharks utility back is one of two changes made to the match 22 by coach Peter de Villiers following the Springboks’ last victory over the same opponents almost three weeks ago – the other seeing Schalk Burger being named on the bench.
