Jean de Villiers to join Munster

South African centre Jean de Villiers has agreed terms to join Munster at the end of the Tri-Nations and before the ERC registration date on September 17.

The 28-year-old played a central role in South Africa's two test wins over The Lions and was voted the SA Player of the Year in 2008.

It now only remains for his provincial side (Western Province) to agree to de Villiers' request for an early release from his contract which is due to expire on October 31st.
