Bective Rangers have been busy in their plans to make the step up from AIB League Division Two, swooping to take a quartet of players from Greystones.

Bective Rangers have been busy in their plans to make the step up from AIB League Division Two, swooping to take a quartet of players from Greystones.

‘Stones quartet David Carney, Sean Carroll, David Nutty and Robin O'Sullivan have moved from Dr Hickey Park to Donnybrook in an effort to gain more regular first-team rugby.

They will be joined there by John Byrne (Dublin University), Daire Fitzgerald, Kevin O'Brien and Anthony O'Reilly (all Railway Union), Glenn Howard (Terenure College), Nathan Lawless (OLBC), Gavin Nyawata (Lansdowne), Rory O'Reilly (Wicklow) and Alex O'Sullivan (Galwegians).
