Trimble set to train within next fortnight

Ulster three-quarter Andrew Trimble will be able to return to training in the next two weeks, it was announced today.

Ulster three-quarter Andrew Trimble will be able to return to training in the next two weeks, it was announced today.

Ireland international Trimble successfully underwent right knee surgery on April 30 to correct a long-standing patella injury.

His rehab programme has progressed well and to plan, and the 24-times capped Irish international is currently working in the gym on limb and joint strength with Ulster's strength and conditioning coach Jonny Davis.
