Former club player John Andrews has agreed to become the head coach at AIL club Ballymena.

Former club player John Andrews has agreed to become the head coach at AIL club Ballymena.

Ballymena Chairman Ray Buchanan said: "We welcome the arrival of John and are delighted to have a local man with strong school contacts that will enable us to carry through our plan of development on young local talent."

Ballymena finished 13th in AIB League Division One this season and are placed in Division One Section B for next season alongside fellow Ulster club Dungannon and the newly-promoted Ballynahinch.
