Doran-Jones signs for Gloucester
Former Leinster prop Paul Doran-Jones has signed a two year contract at Gloucester.
The 24-year-old was with Leinster from 2003 to 2007 before spending the past two seasons at London Welsh. He has represented Ireland U19s and U21s.
"I did have other options but I met up with Dean Ryan and Carl Hogg and what they had to say about developing me as a player really struck a chord," said Doran-Jones.
"I'd also never visited Kingsholm and I got an awesome feeling from the stadium and the city. There's so much pride and tradition there but also so much potential. I really wanted to be a part of that."
Gloucester's coach Dean Ryan believes Doran-Jones has what it takes to be a success.
"Paul's had a very good grounding in National League Division One and more than held his own against some very good front rows. We think he's one for the future and can develop into a very good Premiership player."
