Dragons to face Calvisano in Heineken Cup play-off

Newport Gwent Dragons will face Rugby Calvisano in the 24th place playoff for next season's Heineken Cup.

Calvisano finished third in the Italian Super 10 after losing their semi final against Benetton Treviso.

Dragons were the worst-placed Welsh side in the Magners League but qualify for this play-off as they finished above bottom-placed Connacht.

The game will be played on Friday evening in Italy.
