Six Irish in Magners League Dream Team

There are six Irish players in the Magner's League Dream Team for the 2008/09 season.

They are Jerry Flannery, Ronan O'Gara, Paul O'Connell, Jamie Heaslip, Brian O'Driscoll and Tommy Bowe with Leinster's Rocky Elsom and Munster's Lifeimi Mafi also making the grade.

Heaslip, the only player to make the Dream Teams for the last threee years, said: "To be included in the Dream Team for the third consecutive year is a real honour, especially alongside such a quality list of players and rounds off a fantastic season.

"Winning the Magners League title last year was a real springboard for Leinster and gave us the confidence to challenge for European honours this season."
