Ireland withdraw World Cup interest

The Irish Rugby Football Union has officially withdrawn from the 2015 World Cup bidding process.

The Irish Rugby Football Union has officially withdrawn from the 2015 World Cup bidding process.

Irish rugby chiefs had expressed an interest three months ago in making a joint bid with England, Scotland and Wales for the tournament in six years’ time.
