AIB League finals to be held in Limerick

Thomond Park Stadium has been announced as the venue for this year’s AIB League Division 1 playoff final on Saturday, May 9.

It is the first time the league finals will be played in Limerick.

The home of Munster Rugby will host Irish club rugby’s end of season showpiece which will see the winners of this Saturday’s AIB League semi-finals between Cork Constitution and Clontarf, which is live on RTÉ 2 at 2pm, and Shannon versus Garryowen battle it out for club rugby’s ultimate prize.

The AIB League Division 2 and 3 playoff finals will also take place on the day with Dooradoyle, the home of Garryowen FC hosting both games.

The AIB League Division 3 final will kick off at 12pm, followed by the AIB Division 2 final at 2pm.
