Ulster have continued their recruitment drive with the announcement of the signing of Tamaiti Horua, from Super 14 side Western Forces on a two-year contract.

Ulster have continued their recruitment drive with the announcement of the signing of Tamaiti Horua, from Super 14 side Western Forces on a two-year contract.

The 26-year-old New Zealand-born, Melbourne-raised blindside flanker has played 42 Super 12/14 matches for The Force and the ACT Brumbies.

He is known as a "powerful forward with clever ball skills" and can play anywhere across the back row.

He played for Australia in 2003 and 2005, captained the Australian U21s in 2001 and played for the Australian U19s in 2000.
