Tigers suspend Ellis

Leicester Tigers have suspended scrum-half Harry Ellis for a week after finding him guilty of making a dangerous tackle on Dan Carter during Sunday’s 26-20 defeat to Perpignan in the Heineken Cup.

Club officials launched an internal investigation following the tackle and decided to impose the ban on the 26-year-old after an internal disciplinary hearing today.
