O'Donovan appointed Ireland A assistant coach
Former Ireland forwards coach Niall O'Donovan has been appointed as assistant coach of the Ireland A side, working with head coach Michael Bradley and manager Joey Miles.
Shannon man O'Donovan will be working with the forwards throughout this season, during which the Ireland A side will play games against England Saxons and Scotland A in February as well as competing in the Churchill Cup in June.
Nigel Carolan has been appointed as assistant coach to Allen Clarke with the Ireland U20 side. Carolan has been and will continue to work with the Connacht Academy, with Phil Orr managing the Ireland U20 team.
