Leinster big guns return for Heineken Cup opener

Leinster welcome back some of their big guns for their opening Heineken Cup Pool 2 clash against Edinburgh at Murrayfield (KO: 1.35pm).

The likes of Ireland internationals Girvan Dempsey, Jamie Heaslip, Bernard Jackman, Shane Jennings, Brian O'Driscoll and Malcolm O'Kelly return to the panel.

It will take all their powers of recovery to generate a victory at bogey away side Edinburgh in what is already a must-win situation.

Leinster are expected to be boosted by a sizable travelling support this weekend, with in excess of 1,000 supporters hoping to make the trip to the Scottish capital.

The team to face Edinburgh is expected to be named on Friday lunchtime.
