Muldoon set for 100th Connacht cap

Captain John Muldoon will win his 100th cap for Connacht against The Ospreys on the first day of the Magner's League at The Sportsground on Friday evening (6.30 pm).

Captain John Muldoon will win his 100th cap for Connacht against The Ospreys on the first day of the Magner's League at The Sportsground on Friday evening (6.30 pm).

Muldoon will become the eleventh player to reach the centruy milestone on the same night that Brett Wilkinson will play for the 50th time.

Coach Michael Bradley has made one change to the side from that which beat Queensland Reds 24-12 in the final pre-season game last week.

John Hearty comes into the side on the left wing as Connacht bid to continue their proud record of having won their opening match every year since the competition began in 2001.
