Munster announce Guinness sponsorship deal

The Munster brand received another boost on Tuesday when they announced a sponsorship partnership with Guinness.

Guinness is already one of the biggest supporters of rugby in Ireland, as long-running partners to the IRFU, Leinster and sponsors of the Autumn International Series, as well as the upcoming Lions Tour in 2009.

Munster chief executive Garrett Fitzgerald said: “We are delighted to welcome Guinness on board as an Official Partner to Munster Rugby and Thomond Park.

"We recognise the great support Guinness has shown for the game of rugby in Ireland to date. We believe they will be an exciting and innovative sponsor of Munster Rugby and look forward to working with them closely to further enhance the Munster brand and the Munster experience for our fans.”

It was echoed by the commitment of Guinness. Relayed by their representative Michael Whelan.
