O'Driscoll to rejoin Ireland squad for New Zealand tour

Brian O'Driscoll will join up with the rest of the Ireland squad for the summer tour of New Zealand and Australia.

The Leinster centre's participation had been in doubt after he withdrew from the side that faced the Barbarians following the death of a close friend.

However, international captain O'Driscoll confirmed his availability last evening and will fly out to New Zealand today or tomorrow.

The rest of the squad, including the Munster Heineken Cup winner flew out from London last night.
